Cannes Film Festival 2015: The footwear choice lowdown

At this year’s Cannes Film Festival, outrage was abound when an amputee was repeatedly reprimanded for wearing flat shoes that were ‘unsuitable’ for the red carpet. This lead to an outburst from celebrities, who took to twitter publicising their disapproval of the incident by posting pictures of themselves wearing flats. But aside from the flat-shoe-disapproval drama, all eyes were on footwear for another reason, too.
