Ravel returns for the autumn/winter 2015 season with an exceptional collection of footwear to serve all style savvy women. So expect the usual sumptuous boot and shoe styles in varying lengths and textures, but this time stepped up a gear to incorporate exquisite detailing and essential on-trend silhouettes.

Starting with a sublime boot collection that has all bases covered, AW15 sees Ravel take on and totally master winter boots. Knee high styles are incorporated and look set to be hero. Whilst ankle boots for AW15 come adorned with intricate stud detailing, wrap around buckle fastenings and some super-cool cleated soles.  Autumnal berry colours, rich browns and vibrant jewel colours are all introduced, along with subtle golds and other softer metallics to create a rich and versatile colour palette.

From the AW15 shoe collection expect a perfect contrast between practical everyday styling and standout glamour. Court shoes in soft touch suede and supreme leathers are met with sophisticated cut-out detailing, metallic effect block heels and both two-tone and lace-up uppers, along with slick pointed toes and sassy sling-backs.

So last week has to go down as one of our all time favourite weeks ever here at Ravel HQ. When the team had the chance to jet off to the bright lights and big city of New York to shoot our autumn/winter 2015 campaign. As always, it seems that we’re just getting our heads around spring/summer footwear and then off we go to plan for AW15. However since fashion never stops, then we really couldnt think of a better location than the city that never sleeps to shoot next season’s campaign!

Tuning in to the ‘girl on the go’ elements that make up much of our autumn collection, combined with that chic city look that often epitomises Ravel, the street scenes in and around Soho and the hustle and bustle of Midtown Manhattan provided the perfect backdrop. Incoporating distinctive New York landmarks such as The Empire State Building and the yellow taxis for which the city is notorious, the campaign boasts a vibrant and energetic NYC vibe and demonstrates just how wearable, stylish and on-trend our forthcoming collection really is!

The party season is almost upon us and with it comes a whole month’s worth of party perfect outfits and sassy festive looks to keep you looking hot-to-trot on the dancefloor! I mean, if this isn’t one of the busiest times to keep yourself and your wardrobe in check then we don’t know what is! There’s the works Christmas party to consider, the famous ‘Mad Friday’ night out with your gal pals and then the Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve outfits to get boxed off! It sure is a busy time.

There’s no denying that Ibiza is one of our all time favourite islands. With its beautiful Balearic scenery and laid-back hippie vibe, there’s no where quite like it. Plus, with it being home to some of the best bars, clubs and restaurants in the world you’re guaranteed a fun filled trip no matter when you visit.

So with this in mind, the Ravel creative team packed their capsule Ibiza wardrobes and headed back to the island to shoot next summer’s spring/summer campaign. The concept for SS15 was ‘The Road Trip’ and we wanted to portray the story of the free spirited Ravel girl and her sense of adventure! In complete contrast to last summers campaign, we took to the road in our camper van and headed to some of the islands more deserted/rural spots. We started the day shooting at some of the islands south west beaches, Cala Carbo and Cala D’hort, with beautiful Es Vedra captured in the background. Then to shoot the more glamorous evening looks we headed north to Benirras Beach, home to some of the islands most intriguing hippies and where they head to drum their bongos to sundown. We managed to shoot our heel styles to perhaps one of the most magnificent sunsets we have ever seen. Here’s a sneak peek of our trip….

So, if you follow us on our social media pages, you may have noticed that the Ravel team were lucky enough to visit Ibiza last week to shoot our sensational SS14 campaign. Ibiza was an easy choice of destination, not only because of how much love and admiration we have for the island, but because we just knew that the beaches, clifftops and general laidback Ibizan vibe would be the perfect backdrop to showcase the next range.

The team stayed in Talamanca over looking Ibiza Old Town and selected some superb spots to shoot the spring/summer looks. Including the incredible Nassau Beach Club at Playa D’en Bossa beach, the beautiful boutique hotel Los Jardins De Palerm hidden up in the hills of San Josep and evening looks shot overlooking the magical rock of Es Vedra; one of the most spiritual and magnetic spots across the world and, if folk legends are true, the reason why people are so often drawn back to the island, year after year.
